The other day I was out with friends and someone asked about the etiquette of putting makeup on at the table while at a restaurant.  This is a tricky question.  My feeling is that you should only do so if you have a pretty compact, and not an old crusty, crumbled powder compact that's seen better days.   There are lines that make beautiful compacts such as Giorgio Armani's new Shimmer Powder with black lacquer top.  Very classy.  Or Trish McEvoy's refillable compact that holds everything from powder to lipstick.  Very clean and classy.   Of course what is a beautiful compact if it comes out of an unsightly cosmetics bag?  A bag from Stephanie Johnson, such as this Bollywood Black bag, is the perfect way to carry all your makeup needs in one stunning place.   That way you won't have to worry about always going to the powder room for a touch up!
